Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to be the Mistress of Ceremony at a friend’s wedding. I have battled fear for a long time so I thought being the Mistress of Ceremony was a great way to challenge myself to get out of my comfort zone. Elated, I found the perfect little black dress, gloves and shoes. It was the perfect opportunity to shop. All the women in my family love to shop and I’m no different! I was blessed to witness the union of two beautiful people united as one in front of friends, co-workers, and family. I pray they will always remember their wedding day. I want to encourage you to dare to love and don’t forget to share a piece of love with someone! God is love! He lavishes his love on his children. We can see his love in creation if we take a moment.
Here are my reflections about marriage:
* A simple building can be transformed into a beautiful venue
* Marriage is what you make it.
* Keep God first in everything you do.
*Patience and smiles go a long way. Just keeping smiling.
* Have fun, don’t be so uptight.
*Laugh, love and meet some new people. You will never have this experience again.
*Greatness is on the inside of you. Will you unleash it?
*Reconnecting with old friends is just as important as making new friends.
*I was created for the Zoe life (the God kind of life)!
What would you add to my list?
